About Me

Siqueiros Live on ! Artist Anna Siqueiros: Los Angeles, california, United States; Well this my log of my latest endeavors of creating from the experience of living life and how it impacts my sketches,paintings,writtings,etc........ My present work is a personal statement about movement. I express that it is a dance about creation and a message and I want the viewer to feel a sense of peace and tranquility by guiding the eye through time and space—an entrance through passageways of sheer doors and windows that produces another state of mind from the past to the present in to a paralleled universe to bring forth a harmony with ones environment. I prefer working in a variety of media—unison of acrylics, mixed media, and collage. Music plays a large roll when I am painting. For it creates a feeling that allows me to be free-flowing gestures of paint across the canvas—expressing feelings of past and present while my brush dances.
