CHIQUITA’S FRIENDS is a nonprofit agency committed to supporting organizations that strive to stop cruelty to animals and “give hope to the forgotten, rejected & neglected*”. On Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 5:00pm, Chiquita’s Friends is hosting a festive fundraising gala and award ceremony honoring individuals and organizations in our communities dedicated to saving lives and bringing animals out of crisis and into care. Coinciding with the 20^th anniversary celebration of my restaurant, LULA COCINA MEXICANA, our event will be a vibrant and colorful fiesta. 

Our four honorees this year are:

& Founder of the LINDA BLAIR WORLDHEART FOUNDATION

ROBERT CABRAL, Executive Director of BOUND ANGELS DR. LISA NEWELL

Well It was a wonderful experience and I could not think of a better cause to help rescue animals I got 5 of them my self. I am happy to report that the painting Vino tinto raised enough money to save more dogs and I want to do more in the future along side with fighting cancer for kids. Help me to help them in finding cures and good homes. I will be doing a series of works that are going to be affordable for you to purchase that will go directly to these much needed causes.
