Solar Flare 2011 Artist Vision comes true

as an artist who has had visions of this occurring for the last 5 years but these visions are turning in to reality is rather scary to say the lest. I am afraid that this is only the beginning of flares interrupting our communication status. Imagine the world with out an electrical source to do transactions of money, or oral communication across the land or even the world. we might have to put the wars on hold for a long while and we will have to deal with respecting and appreciating the earth in which we reside from with in the Universe. We might just have to come together and unite and actually communicate once again face to face with out any devise electronically. I must admit this would drastically change the way I live my life tremendously. How do you think it would affect yours?
The clock of life is wound but once
And No Man have not to turn back the
Hands of the hands late or early Hour!
For is the time to Live,Love and toil with this will!
For you will never know when the becomes still !
poem by: Omar Khayyám
(died 1123), Persian poet, mathematician, and astronomer. His rubáiyát (quatrains), found in The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám (translation published 1859), are meditations on the mysteries of existence and celebrations of worldly pleasures.

For the Love of Friendship

My father always told me you may love your family but you may not like what, why, and how they do the things they do. Friends how ever you have a choices to select the type of friends you want in your life. But to take note that if you choose to hang around with dogs you might pick up a few fleas along the way. Well good advice for living in this world of uncertainty. I got to say I have been very fortunate to have such wonderful friends new and old be a part of my life. As in the Dictionary it states

friend |frend|nouna person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations.• a person who acts as a supporter of a cause, organization, or country by giving financial or other help join the Friends of Guilford Free Library.• a person who is not an enemy or who is on the same side she was unsure whether he was friend or foe.

It's very hard to live in a big city where you are complied with immense amount of people and their minds. Your ability to try to carry on with all the confusion that can be over whelming. Constantly struggling to meet your end of the bargain as a responsible adult can be a very lonely place. And this folks is where one in whom are the ones we Cherish comes to play a huge part of our lives. They have the ability to make us or break us, because they are an extension of us. They hold the mirror and reflect a part of us that we may not want to see at a particular time. But they are patient and understanding and when were ready they open the door. I have been blessed with many different shapes, color and characters of friends. But although their might be many along my path of life that I have cherished. Their are those few that stand out and I can truly say I love then and they are not only friends they are family to me. My father always said you may have millions of acquaintances but your true friends you can count on your right hand. I happy to report I have more than that lest so far. People who I had no idea would stand up to the plate for me. Those who truly were sincere in the comfort when things just got to harry and I was just disappointed beyond belief. Today I want to thank these special family members who are my friends and know that although through the years although I may not always be their physically I am always thinking of you. So I leave you with this poem:
I may not come from wealth, but because of you I am more than wealthy! I may have not had my schooling paid for, but because of you I am educated!I may not be the best looking, but because of you I feel attractive! I may not have some fancy house, but because of you I feel I have a home!I may not be a movie star, but because of you I feel I am a shinning star!I may not be at times strong, but because of you I want to live long! I may not have everything that someone wants, but with you I have every thing I need! It is that of my soul you feed! My dear Friend! Thank You!

Confusion of feeling Broken

Have you ever felt Broken? Feeling that everything around you has  falling apart in to a million pieces? You find your self hiding in bed with the blinds closed tight curled up in a ball and having not a once of energy to accomplish anything you need to do. You fight to achieve something and then something else goes wrong I mean really wrong you loose things left and right and your mind is bottled up with nothing with frustration. Every Artist at times encounters this no matter who you are. Your spirit seems it is crushed and you see no light at the end of the tunnel. You just don't care anymore about anything or anyone let alone your self. Well I just went through this again and I will tell you it is one hell of a place to be. Why do we go through this? What triggers this? Well my take on it is that we have to it is a way of changing our mind set and being passionate for why we do the things we do. We can find our selves a head of our  own bodies with not being present too far on the other side that we for get that we must remain grounded. We lost apart of our spirt that drives our creations from the creator to flourish. We must seek deeper into our being and know that we do count and we do make a difference in this world. Thus why the creator chose us to be Artist! We should never ever allow that the o mighty buck validate us to be Artist. If our work is not bought by those who claim they want to buy it yet never do. It's OK! Remember it is not others who buy our works of art that light the spark of creation. It is the passion that our creator has given us to represent a language of Visual Movement to move those who are privilged to see it yet alone given the opportunity to own a part of you!
Just do your Art for Art Sake!

The Star Gods The Fukit's (Performance Artist)

Great wines start with stomping on a lot of grapes, and so it goes with the soul!
Revealing your greatness requires moments of pain.   And since our human nature is to run from it, we must make a contract with ourselves to go through the hurt, no matter what.
Today, renegotiate your contract, and commit to going through discomfort in order to become great.

The Rise of America/ Made In America#4

The Rise of America
To A Higher Conscientiousness

Work in Progress
By
Anna E. Siqueiros

This work is based on the union of the people who represent moving forward in enlightening a higher conscientiousness, awareness of the past to our modern times for the good of change for all peoples that have come from all countries around the world to make United States of America what it is today.
This painting is partly a Performance Art Piece:
Over time, in the Gallery at West Los Angeles College, the Artist will continue adding figures of portraits: Those portraits symbolize the knowledge, wisdom and talents of those who live in the United States of America, who are helping in raising a higher conscientiousness; setting an example for those around them as well as those who view this painting in the future.
Upon completion, the Artist will have a list of names as well as a diagram of whom were chosen and depicted in this painting for future reference.
Ms. Siqueiros would also like to extend a warm “Thank you” to all those who have contributed in setting aside their time, and providing space towards the completion of this painting for future generations to view.

Blue Today

Blue Today Acrylic on wood 2010 by a.Siqueiros
Fighting Depression again just like every Artist dose. Perhaps it is the coming of a storm headed our way that adds to all the grimness of all you see on television, newspapers, the edge of the energy of doom by those I seem to pick up around me. Although I know I will get through this I can not help to feel sadness creeping up. I like to sleep my way through it but I know it won't get things done. So I plunge my self in it and process the enviable to create through it. I will keep you posted on my accomplishments of process  that helps me with it. Depression always seems to make me feel more lonely than I actually am but their is no doubt that it still some glimmer of hope beyond this so called darkness that surrounds me. I refuse to have it absorb me in to deeper negative frame of mind. I look to the sky and see the clouds change with the gust of wind. Why can't I? Well I can and I will. I believe it is all about the frame of mind to latch on to that keeps me going so I will ! And if you are ever here You Can Too!

Graysons 7th Brain Surgery Update From His mom Michelle Arroyo

Sorry for not sending out an email update about the surgery for so long. It turns out I can access Facebook at the hospital very easily but not email.

Over five hours in the OR, but he was talking and moving pretty quickly in the recovery room. The surgery was successful in removing most of the scar tissue that had completely sealed his fourth ventricle shut, but they could not put the shunt in the ventricle as we had hoped. His fourth ventricle had  a lot of tumor in it so it would more than likely just clog the shunt (drain) if they put it in. They did make a tube out of a dissolvable gel material in hopes that it would keep an open pathway for the ventricle to drain. It may or may not work, or may only work for a period of time. The pathologist confirmed that the tissue sample was actual tumor but we will not have final results likely for ten days, and this is no surprise because we know that Gray's tumor is like a coating throughout his brain and spine.

The first few days were very worrisome because Gray was not bouncing back like he has after his previous surgeries. He would not eat or drink, try and get up or move around, and his visual processing seemed to be very off. He had no interest in movies or cartoons, or any of the usual stuff that he enjoys even if only for a few minutes. His sodium levels seemed to remain low despite supplementation and then he started with a fever. That required many tests, Chest X-ray, Head CT, and a sampling of Cerebral Spinal Fluid to rule out bacterial growth. He had a couple of days of antibiotics and seemed to have kicked whatever infection may have been brewing.

The first week we were on the Surgical floor which had a variety of surgical recovery patients and was very noisy and chaotic. Gray does not do well with noise under good circumstances so this was very difficult for all of us to deal with, and sharing a room with two babies for the first three days did not start things out right. The emotional trauma seems to be the toughest for him to deal with at this time. He has constant nightmares when trying to sleep and so he seems pretty afraid to go to sleep at night and his emotions are very volatile. You just never know how the brain will respond in these types of surgeries, swelling and movement play a big part of mood, coordination and function. It will probably take many weeks or even months to know the effectiveness of reducing pain and figure out all the actual changes in him, both good and bad.

Two days ago we transferred to the In Patient Rehab Unit, in hopes of getting him several hours a day of therapy to help get him back on his feet. His fine motor skills are still pretty good but his legs are still very wobbly and vision seem to be off. It is a challenge to try and walk, even with me doing all the work, because his legs are all over the place. His head and neck are very stiff which does not help and he is very afraid of hurting himself. Gray has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but I am sure he will be back in action "Gray Style" as usual.

Thanks to all who made a special trip to Children's Hospital LA to donate blood on Grayson's behalf. He was borderline on requiring a transfusion, but his blood counts recuperated quickly enough so all the donations would be successful in helping another child.

As always, I saved the best for last. We are so fortunate to have such a great support system. I apologize to all the people who have offered to come by and visit, bring food, etc. that I have not had time to respond to. My besties, Amy and Diane, came into town before the surgery and did not go home until they had to return to their own kids and work. My family has taken turns round the clock to bring us anything we may need and allow me to meet with the teams of Doctors, and take an occasional shower. This has been an exhausting, emotionally and physically, hospital stay. Not just here, but for our support team that stayed at the house to make the rounds. The hospital security is tight here so we can only have two people bedside at a time, which is usually me and one visitor.

And many thanks to Annie Banannie, Gray's famous Clown Mentor, who has kept us all laughing. Even when people were passing out while donating blood on Grayson's behalf.... :o)...always an adventure of some sort.

Grayson loves to get mail, so we are welcoming cards and letters.

xoxo Michelle and Gray

A Thousand Prayers For Grayson

“A Thousand Prayers For Grayson

I am only that of a boy striving to become a man.
Can you take my hand?

Can you blow in to the wind a thousand prayers across this land?

It is to rest upon me a surgery of healing.
With a ray of sunshine, and the gentle autumn rain.

So I will no longer have to be in pain.

There is so much I look forward to, Too many memories to gain.

Can you blow in to the wind a thousand prayers across this land?

And Whisper My Name:
